Filled with playing of wind, sunlight and a colorful sea Mariafurdo is located on the south shore of Lake Balaton. On hiking maps and road atlases, the small village between Keszthely and Mahart is called BalatonmáriafürdÅ‘.
The population of Mariafurdo is one thousand inhabitants. But its reputation as a perfect place for relaxation and swimming is known across the borders of Hungary. Mariafurdo is located on the border between vineyards on the hills from the volcanic stones, south shore of Lake Balaton and National Park ”Kis Balaton”.
