Area information

The immediate environment of Hévíz offers a huge range of leisure activities for tourists. As a part of the Balaton Highland National Park and together with the Keszthely mountains with its unique natural treasures, the protected flora and fauna of the Small Balaton has been a nature reserve since the 1920s. The Festetics Castle in Keszthely and the fortress of Sümeg attract visitors throughout the year because of their architectural, cultural and historical value. Hévíz is a great place in every season. In springtime guests are welcomed by a town filled with blossoms. They are tempted to go for a nice walk in the woods around the lake or to take a hike up the hills of the unique Keszthely mountains and in the Balaton country. In summer guests can bathe in the lake where you also find a pool for kids. Due to its particular micro climate, the town is pleasant in autumn and winter as well.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 3 to 6 years are charged EUR 10 per night and person for extra beds. All children from 6 to 12 years are charged EUR 20 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 28 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 18 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
